We Treat Your Dog Like Family
Animal House offers a variety of services including Doggy Daycare and Boarding. Our goal is to treat your dog as if they were part of our own family. We offer safe, secure, clean and kind service at a fair price. Many boarding places have the dogs locked in kennels all day and let them out a few times a day. We feel this is stressful for dogs who are used to being around people all day. This is why our policy is to have someone with your dog 7am - 7pm, period. Dogs are free to romp, play and lounge as they see fit. Couches, a large indoor play area, large outdoor play area and a TV for background noise means your pup will feel right at home all day! Dogs are let in and out at their leisure and are given potty breaks at regular intervals throughout the day. Dogs can indulge in cuddles and pets from staff as they see fit and are given an occasional treat with owners permission.
Daycare– Whether it be for 30 minutes or 12 hours, Animal House Has you covered! During our hours of operation, someone is with your dog the entire time. Dogs are housed in groups of 10-12 and are paired with groups based on how well they get along with the other dogs.
Boarding – Animal House Boarding and More offers several options for your pups stay including couch surfing, individual kennel or group kennels (for multi-dog families). Boarded dogs are enrolled in our doggie daycare free of charge.
Sanitation – Kennels are thoroughly cleaned between uses with Veterinary grade disinfectant. This is safer for your pup and targets canine specific viruses and bacteria, such as Canine Parvovirus, Canine Corona Virus and Canine Distemper, just to name a few. Our indoor area is swept and mopped every night. For our couches, we rotate sheets and blankets as needed to help keep them sanitary. Additionally, they are sprayed with a dog safe mixture of vinegar, water and dawn to keep things sanitary.
Aggressive Dog Policy – Dog fights inevitably happen, this is a part of canine nature. Occasional fights are to be expected, but when they start happening on a regular basis; this is when we get concerned. This is the reason for our Temperament Evaluation policy. This allows us to evaluate each and every dog to see how well they do in a group setting and if we feel they are a good fit for our facility. Additionally, each staff member is required to learn and comprehend the three steps leading up to a dog fight and how to safely separate two fighting dogs. Temperament evaluations are done initially on their first day and may be performed again if the dog starts showing signs of aggression at a later date.

Kennels are rigorously disinfected between use and our entire facility is swept, mopped and thoroughly disinfected nightly.
